چکیده

An experiment was carried out at the Department of Field Crops laboratory, College Agriculture, University Tikrit, in order to know effect stimulating stored seeds triticale Farah cultivar by α -amylase enzyme using a complete random design (CRD) factorial experiment. The first factor storage periods 6 months, 1.5 years and 2.5 (S1,S2 S3) second concentrations 0 (dry seeds), soaked distilled water, 1 2 mg L-1 (C1,C2,C3 C4). Results showed that increasing period reduces viability their ability germinate seedling characters. percentage germination, plumule length, radicale, vigor, dry weight radical reduced from 93.5%, 10.68 cm,11.05 cm, 2033.42, 0.1149 g 0.1231 S1 treatment 83.88%, 7.53cm, 7.5 1267.1, 0.0977 0.1022 S3 treatment. concentration superior vigor values were 92.44, 9.46cm, 1805.78 0.1111 g. However length its weight. best interaction between C3 with 96.6%, 11.50 2212.33 0.1288 for germination percentage, C4 recorded 11.67 cm 0.1353 respectively.

Stored proteinases and the initiation of storage protein mobilization in seeds during germination and seedling growth.

Though endopeptidases and carboxypeptidases are present in protein bodies of dry quiescent seeds the function of these proteases during germination is still a matter of debate. In some plants it was demonstrated that endopeptidases of dry protein bodies degrade storage proteins of these organelles. Other studies describe cases where this did not happen. The role that stored proteinases play in ...
